The Basics
This watch—more than any other from NOMOS Glashütte—has rightly earned the title “design classic.” It is regarded as the watch of choice amongst architects’ and writers’, and as a timepiece for cultured individuals. In its present form, it is powered by Nomos extra-thin automatic DUW 3001 movement – and its case is only 0.3mm higher than the manual wind version. Reference 176 has the ‘champagner’ dial, while the 175 has a more traditional silver dial. This new 177 has a deep blue dial similar to that of the Ahoi.
